In this 7 week series we will cover fundamental knowledge of Yoga and its practice. This will include the 8 Limbs of Yoga and the Koshas. You will also be introduced to some Ayurveda basics, Dosha and the Ayurvedic clock. Classes will be an hour and a half, and consist of a brief discussion at the beginning, a breath practice, a physical practice, and a meditation. The intention will be that at the end of this 7 week series you will have a strong foundation for understanding what Yoga & Ayurveda are, how they can help you, and how to use the practices and concepts you've learned in your daily life. This series is appropriate for beginners as well as experienced practitioners.
