Chair Yoga is a 75 minute class that modifies traditional yoga poses and stretches so they can be done while seated.  This makes yoga accessible to individuals who may be recovering from illness or surgery, have difficulty getting down to the floor or limited range of motion, other mobility or balance issues, or those who may prefer a more supportive practice. But, don’t let its simplicity fool you; chair yoga can and will challenge you-it is a potent practice that can help improve flexibility, tone muscles, enhance stability and mobility, reduce stress and increase mental clarity.
