This 75 minute, class will help you unwind, soften, and release stress from the busy week preparing you for the weekend. Practiced on the floor, this class features longer held(1-5 minutes) yin poses that gently aim to nurture the energetic channels and fascia, ligaments, and tendons in the body, encouraging grounding, stillness, as well as introspection. This is a class where letting go is the focus, stretches are passive vs. active. Props are incorporated to offer support and to allow for an unhurried and soothing opening of the body. Soft candlelight creates a peaceful ambiance leaving you feeling relaxed. Some participants have said this class results in better sleep!
